Booking

How do I find a stylist?

Glamer doesn't have search or browse — every stylist shares their own booking link. You'll usually find a stylist's Glamer profile through their Instagram, their chair, or a friend, and book from there.

How do I book an appointment?

Open your stylist's profile, choose a service, and pick a time from their live availability. You'll get a confirmation by text — and by email too if you book with an account.

Some stylists approve each booking first — if yours does, you'll be notified the moment they confirm.

Do I need an account to book?

No — you can check out as a guest with just your phone number. A free account is worth having, though: it keeps your bookings in one place and lets you cancel or reschedule them yourself. As a guest, changes go through your stylist.

How do I know a stylist is legitimate?

Stylists create and run their own profiles — Glamer doesn't vet or pre-approve them. Most clients book a stylist they already know or were referred to.

Ratings and reviews come only from completed bookings, so they can't be bought or imported from elsewhere.

Can I talk to a stylist before booking?

Not through Glamer — there's no in-app messaging. The best way to reach a stylist is wherever you found them, like their Instagram.

For some services your stylist may ask for a consultation first — if so, you'll get a text with a consultation form to fill out so they know exactly what you're after.

Cancellations & rescheduling

How do I cancel a booking?

If you booked with an account, go to your bookings and choose cancel — the time is released back to your stylist. If you booked as a guest, ask your stylist to cancel for you. Either way, payments are arranged directly with your stylist, so any deposit or cancellation fee is between you and them.

Can I reschedule instead of canceling?

Yes. With an account, you can move a booking to any of your stylist's open times from your bookings — no need to cancel and start over. If you booked as a guest, your stylist can move it for you.

What happens if my stylist cancels?

The booking is canceled and you can rebook any of their other open times whenever you're ready. Anything you've already paid them is between you and your stylist to settle directly.

Payments

How do payments work?

Glamer doesn't process payments. You pay your stylist directly, however the two of you arrange it — Glamer never charges your card, holds deposits, or adds fees on top of your stylist's prices. Tips and deposits are handled the same way: directly with your stylist.

Does Glamer cost me anything?

No. Glamer is free for clients — you only pay your stylist's price for the service.

Account

How do I update my account details?

Open your account settings — you can update your details anytime and changes apply immediately.

How do I delete my account?

From account settings, choose delete account. Your data is removed in line with our privacy policy.

Getting started

How do I set up my profile?

Glamer for stylists lives in the iOS app — download it and sign up as a stylist. You'll set up three things:

  • A portfolio of your work
  • Your services, prices, and durations
  • Your location or service area

Your profile is live as soon as you publish it — there's no approval wait.

How do clients find me?

You bring them. Glamer doesn't have search or browse — your profile link is yours to share, so put it wherever clients already find you: your Instagram bio, your chair, your business cards.

What does Glamer cost?

Nothing right now — Glamer is completely free for stylists. No listing fee, no subscription, and no cut of your bookings: clients pay you directly and you keep all of it.

Bookings & availability

How do I set my availability?

Set your weekly hours in the app and block off any dates you're away. Clients can only book times you've opened. You can also sync with your iOS calendar so double-bookings can't happen.

Do I have to accept every booking?

By default, clients book instantly within your open hours. If you'd rather approve each request first, switch to request mode in the app and confirm or decline each booking yourself.

What if a client doesn't show up?

Mark the booking as a no-show in the app. Since clients pay you directly, any deposit or no-show fee is part of your own policy with them — Glamer doesn't collect it for you.

What happens when a client cancels?

Your time reopens automatically so someone else can book it. Any cancellation fee or deposit is between you and the client — Glamer doesn't hold or move money.

Getting paid

How do I get paid?

Directly by your clients — cash, card, payment apps, whatever you already use. Glamer doesn't process payments or take a cut, so there are no payouts to wait on: you're paid when your client pays you.

Does Glamer handle my taxes?

No — you work as an independent professional and handle your own taxes. Because clients pay you directly, Glamer doesn't hold earnings records or issue tax forms.

Account

Can I pause my profile?

Yes — turn on vacation mode in the app anytime to stop new bookings while keeping your profile visible. Existing bookings stand unless you cancel them.

How do I change my prices or services?

Edit them anytime in the app. Changes apply to new bookings only — anything already booked keeps the price the client agreed to.
